180
Degree Turn
180
degree turn is a very basic change
of direction that every soccer player
should be able to perform with ease.
Here is an example of what it looks
like
180
Degree Turn (left)
A
very basic change of direction with
the off foot. Notice how the ball
stays relatively close to my feet
after I change direction, rather
then letting it get too far out
of control where a defender can
easily steal it.
Step
Over Fake
This
is the basic motion for a step over
fake in slow motion. After doing
the step-over, explode into the
open space with the outside of the
opposite foot.
Instep
Cut
A
cut with the instep, perhaps the
most basic change of direction.
As always the ball should stay close
to the feet.
Chest
Trap
Cushion
the impact of the ball with your
chest and drop the ball to your
feet. Nice and easy.
